ROUTING: BNBMG will not guarantee any appointment time until the Friday before any scheduled appointment. At that point, a confirmation text (or call) will be made to set an arrival window (1-2 hours). This allows for the most efficient routing.
LATCHKEY SERVICE: If I have arranged latchkey services, I agree not to hold BNBMG responsible for any damages related to entering or exiting the premises. I understand that I have agreed to leave a key, given garage access, or have notified BNBMG of an unsecure door for entry. I understand that if my pet is not confined, and BNBMG is unable to retrieve my pet, I will be responsible to pay a $50 cancellation fee.
INVOICES: I understand that if i chose to be invoiced for services, payment is due by 9pm on the date of services. I understand that failure to pay by 9pm will result in a $10 late fee.
WEATHER: I understand that if there is an accumulation of 4 or more inches of snow, or winds over 35 MPH my appointment will be rescheduled. I agree to have a pathway free of snow and ice for the groomer to safely retrieve and return my pet.
PARKING: I agree to have 40 feet of level, legal street parking (with at least 11-foot clearance) available to the groomer. I agree to have all personal vehicles arranged prior to the groomer's arrival.
PRE-BOOKING: I understand that pre-booking is not required, but it is the best way to ensure my pets' next appointment. I understand that if I do not pre-book my next appointment, there may be a significant wait for availability. Pets on a regular rotation are booked with priority.
MATTED PET RELEASE: If my pet is matted, or has a heavy undercoat, I authorize BNBMG to remove matting by shaving or heavy brushing. I understand that although BNBMG will use all precautions, there is a risk of reactions such as irritation, or nicks to the skin. I agree not to hold BNBMG responsible for minor injuries to the skin as a result of the dematting process.
AGED PET RELEASE: I am aware that if my pet is a “senior” the grooming process may be stressful. The stress of grooming may cause latent, unknown, or inactive conditions such as heart, kidney, or liver disorders to become active and can result in illness, seizures, or death of my pet. Although BNBMG will take reasonable care in the grooming of my pet, I agree not to hold BNBMG responsible for reactions to grooming. My pet is considered a senior at age 7.
SPECIAL CONDITION RELEASE: I am aware that if my pet has “special conditions” the process of grooming may be stressful. The stress of grooming may cause known “special conditions” to become inflamed, and unknown or inactive conditions to become active and can result in illness, seizures, or death of my pet. Special conditions include (but are not limited to): heart disease, respiratory disease, seizure, allergies, arthritis, sedations, previous injury, heat, pregnancy, nursing, diabetes, medications, and previous surgery sites.
FLEA/TICK/LICE: BNBMG does not accept pets with known parasites. I agree to reschedule my pets appointment if I know s/he has any parasites. If my pet is found to have parasites during the grooming process, I agree to pay an additional $50 for decontamination.
ANAL GLAND RELEASE: BNBMG only expresses anal glands upon request (though there is no extra charge). If I have requested that my pet's anal glands be expressed, I understand that BNBMG only expresses anal glands externally. I understand that anal glands are an internal organ, and that continual problems with anal glands should be addressed by a veterinarian. I understand that there is risk with anal gland expression and agree not to hold BNBMG responsible for any injury related to anal gland expression.
SHAVE RELEASE: If i have requested that my pet be shaved, i understand that there is a risk of post shaving alopecia, where the hair does not grow properly. I agree not to hold BNBMG responsible should this occur with my pets coat.
PHOTO AND VIDEO RELEASE: I authorize BNBMG to take pictures and/or videos of my pet. I understand that photos and videos may be used for things including, but not limited to, record keeping, social media, and advertising.
VACCINATION POLICY: I understand that BNBMG requires my pet to be current on his/her rabies vaccination. I understand that it is also highly recommended that my pet be current on all other vaccinations.
CANCELLATION POLICY: i understand that there is a $50 cancellation fee if i do not provide at least 48 hours to cancel an appointment, and agree to pay this fee should it occur.
SAFETY POLICY: Safety is BNBMG’s top priority. If at any point the groomer feels that the safety of the pet, or groomer, is compromised, the grooming process will be terminated. There will be a prorated fee for services provided should this occur.
PAYMENT POLICY: I understand the type of grooming my pet will receive today and agree to pay all fees associated. I understand that there is a $25 fee for all returned checks in addition to any fees incurred from the business’ financial institution. BNBMG accepts cash, check, credit/debit cards, and Venmo as forms of payment. Payment is due at the time services are rendered.
